I like designer Michael Kors and I like these boots except for one thing - the ruffle stretch gathering at the top. If you cut it off, you could wear it as a pony tail holder (although that would not in vogue). Slouchy boots are in style (and so is the color gray, see previous posts) but there are other ways to complete the top of the slouchy boot - a clean line that fits close to the calf or extra material that's folded. The gathering at the top will cut off the length of the leg and make your leg look choppy. I'd redesign without the ruffle top. But that's me - a wannabe fashion designer and store owner.
